Pic Balance ("the Service") is operated by BigHillMedia GbR ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we process when you use the Service and how it is handled. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. No accounts, no tracking profiles
The Service requires no registration. We do not create user accounts and do not build advertising or behavioral profiles. We do not knowingly process personal information about anyone under 13 years of age (COPPA). If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the content.
2. What we process
- Uploaded photos and any optional short message (max 140 characters) and display name you provide.
- Technical data required to operate the Service: IP address, user-agent, timestamps, and basic request logs used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate diagnostics.
- Local storage in your browser may store the IDs of your own shares for convenience. We do not place advertising cookies.
3. Automatic 24-hour deletion
All uploaded photos and associated messages are automatically deleted no later than 24 hours after they are created. Backups, if any, are overwritten on a short rolling cycle. Once deleted, content cannot be recovered.
4. Who can see your photo
Each share is served from a unique, unguessable URL. Anyone with the link can view the share once the "swap" condition is met. Do not share links with people you do not trust.
5. Service providers
Photos and metadata are stored with our cloud infrastructure provider, who processes the data on our behalf solely to deliver the Service. We do not sell personal information.
6. U.S. residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To request deletion of any content you uploaded that has not yet expired, contact notify@picbalance.com.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk (see Terms).
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page.
